Workaround: Manually patch Channels 1 and 2 of the SoundGrid Driver to Outputs 1 & 2 of your SoundGrid audio interface, in SoundGrid Studio’s Patch page > Device to Device view.
While setting SoundGrid Studio to stream audio between your DAW and a SoundGrid audio interface without a SoundGrid server, Outputs 1 & 2 of your interface will be reserved for the eMotion ST mixer’s Control Room, which cannot pass sound without a server. #Reaper error initializing asio driver license
Mixer license and activate it in the ‘Licenses’ page of Waves Central. To use the legacy V9 eMotion ST Mixer, register a free SoundGrid Studio + eMotion ST 8 Ch. Mixer licenses will not activate the legacy V9 eMotion ST Mixer within SoundGrid Studio V9.
SoundGrid Studio + eMotion ST 16/32/64 Ch. When using a SoundGrid Connect setup with a Non-SoundGrid IO, do not manually set the SoundGrid Driver’s ‘Network Driver Buffer’ to 104, this will result in clicks and pops. 
Loading a channel preset will not recall the routed input source, even if routing is selected in 'preset scope'. Changing The Driver Network Buffer in SoundGrid Studio during playback in Bitwig Studio will result in a voice being added to the process and one less voice available. All to no avail.Īnyone have any ideas on how to get Reaper talking to the interface again? The UAC-8 driver is showing in the audio device options screen, but none of the inputs are showing, it's a blank field. I even went so far as to delete all Reaper files and folders in case there was a log that was causing the persistent error. I have tried, several times, combinations of rebooting the PC, rebooting the interface, uninstalling and reinstalling Reaper, and the UAC-8 driver. Reaper no longer works with the UAC-8 driver.
I did a Windows update last weekend, then I also did a firmware and driver update on the UAC-8 interface, followed by an update to Reaper. I have used these before on the old laptop.
